Figure Drawings with Tommy van Auken

While working with Tommy, I was able to learn a lot about expression and working with more loose lines. It helped me use less strict shapes and focus more on the overall figure. It was also useful for figuring out how to make the figures look more energetic and "human." There was much more of a sense of motion than what I had previously used.


I need to work on giving figures more movement and freedom. I was able to improve, but the figure drawings still look somewhat stiff. I should also take more advantage of line weight and value to define certain features while leaving some lighter.
