Lunchtime Lecture - Summer Balcom

We heard a lunchtime lecture from Summer Balcom, a local ceramic artist. She attended VCU arts and then worked as a high school art teacher before becoming a full time artist. I really loved her work and the precision of each piece. Additionally, I was very impressed by her ability to promote herself on social media and take advantage of the connections she made. I thought this was a very interesting and valuable lunchtime lecture, and I learned a lot from Summer Balcom and her work.
