This week I began the process of enlarging by grid for my artist copy. The artist copy image I'm using is "Seated Male Youth" by Peter Paul Rubens. First, I measured and ripped off the excess paper to maintain the paper of the texture. Then I drew out a 4x4 grid on the paper and lightly sketched the outline of the image according to the grid. I now have the basic layout of my artist copy. The next part of the process will be to tint the paper, which I will do next week.
