Articles

This website shows a gallery of over 1000 of Jiaying’s artworks. I really enjoy both the range of his art and the consistency of it. It’s very visually appealing as he uses many simple, similar color schemes throughout his work.

This article about Jiaying’s exhibition in the European Museum of Modern Art details his works featured in the gallery. It also explains how Jiaying has used both traditional Chinese and modern Western art to develop his style, and where those inspirations can be seen in his work.

I really like this piece and how Jiaying was able to incorporate both realism in the woman and also stylize the flowers. I’m very drawn to his muted color palettes and how he uses composition and background imagery in his works.
